A not so Merry Christmas gift…

22 Dec

Unfortunately, as fate would have it, my laptop decided to die on me today. Leaving me without the much needed music to do Blissful Thunder. So I will be repeating last weeks show and begin work on a contingency plan to put together the year end show for next week.

Please don’t forget to give me your input on your favs from 2011. Take the quick survey and I will be sure to include your selections in the show next week.

Have a wonderful holiday everyone… and Merry – whatever it is that you celebrate!

New Arcade Fire Video!

16 Dec

Arcade Fire have just released a new video for the song Sprawl 2 … and this time it has a twist!

If you have a web cam on your computer, you can make the video interactive. I have yet to try it out myself but I have been told that you have to do some sort of dance number haha … I will try it out as soon as I get to a computer with a cam. :)

You can also select the option to view the traditional video, which is pretty good. who doesn’t love dancing??

Check it all out at: www.sprawl2.com

Enjoy!

You tell me…

11 Dec

So I was having a little listen to Rihanna’s latest album, “Talk That Talk”, and I couldn’t help but notice the similarities between her song “Drunk on Love” and “Intro” on The XX self titled 2009 release. Is it just me or do you notice it too?

Love it!

Oh, and you know that big Drake & Rihanna hit “Take Care”? Jamie from The XX had his hand in that too…
