Check out The Thrashers from Winnipeg, a self proclaimed “high energy band geared towards people who like to dance (kind of a mix of 50’s Rock & Roll, 60’s Surf and 70’s Punk)”. You can stream the album “Make Splash” from their website and catch them live when they are in Toronto on  Saturday Sept. 17th at the Hard Luck Bar (812 Dundas Street W).

Caveman recently signed to Dine Alone Records and are set to release their first album on the label this fall. It is called ‘CoCo Beware’ and will be out digitally Sept. 13th and physically Nov. 15th.

You can also see a stripped-down live performance of the band below.  

They will be performing at the Drake Hotel in The Underground on August 24th (this Wednesday) with The War on Drugs and Porcelain Raft at 8:30pm. Entry is $12.
