Soundclash Competition announced at Harbourfront Centre

30 Mar

Here is something for all of the great Toronto talent out there. Harbourfront Centre has just announce a competition called Soundclash! This competition focuses on local music and spans across all genres. Basically, if you can win over the love of the public and the judges, you can get your hands on a hefty cash prize.

The criteria is as follows:
“To enter the competition, all artists must be Greater Toronto Area residents (including the municipalities of Durham, Halton, Peel and York). Each artist or band must be completely independent with no attachment or affiliation to major record labels in order to be eligible for the contest. All artists must submit a biography and a link to a website that hosts a minimum of three songs (live performance footage is encouraged). Participants must also be available to perform at Harbourfront Centre in July 2011. “

For all the details on the contest and on how to submit, go to: harbourfrontcentre.com/soundclash
